Ok, more pics of nursery

Not done yet, but almost. We need to finish the curtains and hang two shelves. Than we are done.

Nursery is getting close

Baby room is so close to being finished. We just have to hang a few more pictures and shelves, put up the nic-nacks, finish the closet, and hang the curtains once they get here. Ok, sounds like a lot of work still, but we are close. Below are some updated pictures.

Pottery Barn Vintage Truck Finials

Latest find for the baby room. I didn't know such a thing existed. I was tempted to get the planes, but I needed more auto stuff, so vintage trucks it is. It is a small detail, but so cute. These are from Pottery Barn but the are discontinued. I found this set on EBay.

Lastest Baby Room Decor Fine

Airplane Wall hooks from CompanyKids (The Company Store). They were ony $15.00. I seem to be collecting a great deal of plane decor and not enough automobil. Car things are hard to find. Of course, I don't know if I'll even have room for all of these things.

Floors in Baby Room: Check

Andy did the floors by himself. He did a great job and worked really hard on them. They turned out great. The crib frame is mostly together and the changer still needs to be put together. I am trying to figure out where to hang the pictures now. Still on the fence about the wall color, I hope it doesn't all turn out too dark.

The Empty Baby Room

Here is a picture of the baby room stripped down. Old nasty carpet ripped out, new hand scrapped wood floors ready to be put in. Hopefully they will be done in the next two days. The current wall color is Khaki, I am undecided still if we will paint it. I need to wait to see it all together first.

Baby Furniture on Order

Wow, Drew is coming very soon and time is flying by. I finally ordered baby furniture, and it too is from JCPenney. It is on back order though, and I will be lucky if I get it before Drew comes, but I pretty much had my mind set on the particular set. Below are some pictures of what we are getting.

Normally I am very cheap, I bargain shop and wont buy something if cost too much, no matter how cute. BUT, this was just too cute and I couldn't resist. Not to mention it will match perfectly in Drew's room:

Baby Room Theme: Vintage Planes & Cars

So, from the very beginning I new I wanted vintage cars and planes as a theme for the room. I originally wanted old vintage travel ads and art posters, but these do not work with the bedding we chose. Instead. I have picked out a few old black & white photos with black frames and brown mats. Below are a few of the pictures that I like and may include in the room.

Finally Decided on Bedding!

I never would have thought that this would be such a difficult decision for me. I had it narrowed down to about 4 completely different styles and colors when Andy said without a doubt, the blue and brown one. Of course, we are partial to blue and brown because those were our wedding colors. Now I think I might have to repaint the room to match better though. Below are pictures of the set.
